The sentence is: Kissinger’s ( Kissinger was one of the politicians orchestrating the exile of the people) rather appalling statement: ‘[t]here are only 90,000 people out there. Who gives a damn?’ is indicative of how these people were perceived and treated by the authorities during the enforced evacuation.More on This Topic......
