Motivation Through Leadership

1. For your assignment, research a great current/former leader in the business world who helped shape our business landscape and explain how they were leaders/motivators through their leadership within the company.
2. Find a case study from a reputable, cited source on one of the following individuals:

   • Richard Melman
3. Analyze their leadership style citing pros and cons of their management techniques and giving as specific examples as possible.
4. Discuss at least three (3) ways how they effectively motivated their employees.
5. Explain how these management techniques can be used in the hospitality industry.
6. In an additional paragraph, please explain why you chose the individual you chose over the other people on the list.
7. Your paper will be a minimum of 1½ pages in length and utilize the standard guidelines set forth in the syllabus.
