The essay for this unit will consist of a 1500 word critical analysis of your choice of ONE of the texts studied on the unit: Sophocles’ Oedipus Tyrannus, Plato’s ‘Crito’, ‘The Apology, Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Rousseau’sDiscourse on Inequality & Reveries*, and Woolf’s ‘The Mark on the Wall’, ‘A Woman’s College’ & ‘A Room of one’s own’**.</o:p>
*Should you choose Rousseau, you will need to respond using both Discourse Reveries. </o:p>
**Similarly, should you choose Woolf, you will need to either respond using ONLY ‘The Mark on the Wall’ or BOTH ‘A Woman’s College’ & ‘A Room of one’s own’.</o:p>
